Not a forecast of how much you will earn. What a chart reads is where money comes most easily for you, and what quietly leaks it.

Wealth in BaZi is not read as an amount of money but as a pattern: where income comes most easily for you, how you treat what you already have, what quietly leaks it, and which periods of life have the rhythm to support accumulating.

Writing about wealth in BaZi usually goes straight to the vocabulary: direct wealth, indirect wealth, the storage branch. Those terms are accurate, but they answer a question nobody is asking. What people actually ask is simpler: why does my income rise while my savings do not, or why is a friend who works less hard somehow steadier with money.
BaZi answers that by reading the relationship between you and resources, not by naming a figure. The result is not an income forecast. It is a picture: which route meets the least resistance for you, which habit most often leaks, and when your rhythm favours keeping over expanding.
A birth chart is calculated from date, time, and city of birth, then summarised as a balance of five natural forces: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. For wealth, four things are read.
Sari has strong Water and thin Earth. She spots opportunities, builds relationships quickly, and as a freelancer often earns more than her salaried friends. Yet every year her balance returns to the same point.
Her chart shows something specific: her strength is in moving things along, not in holding them. In daily life that reads as money in constant motion, lent out, rolled into the next idea, spent helping. Not one of those is a wrong expense. What is missing is a container.
What changed for Sari was not her income but one small habit: a separate account she never touches for operating costs, funded on the day money arrives rather than at the end of the month. The chart did not tell her to spend less. It told her where the leak was, which is a far easier question to answer.
The base chart is calculated free, with no account. All it needs is a name, a birth date, and, if you know them, the birth time and city. What you can see without paying anything:
The full wealth reading, meaning the route that aligns best, the leak most likely to be yours, and how to read your periods when weighing a big decision, is part of the paid written reading. See the options on the home page; this page deliberately quotes no figure so it never goes stale.
Your chart and balance of forces appear immediately, free, with no account. The written wealth reading comes after.

This part needs to be firm, because this is where false promises are sold most often. A birth chart does not name an income figure, does not settle whether someone will be rich or poor, does not give a date to invest, and does not point at any financial instrument. Anyone promising that from a birth date is selling a certainty they do not have.
Nor does it replace what actually decides the outcome: real income, expenses that are tracked, debt that gets cleared, and an economy outside anyone's control. A chart helps name the pattern; the numbers remain your own work.
A healthy way to use the result: use it to choose ONE habit you will change this month, not to explain why your situation cannot change. A pattern you can see is a pattern you can arrange.
In the classical literature this is read through the force that the Day Master controls, called Zheng Cai and Pian Cai, together with the storage branch often translated as the wealth vault. Those terms appear here once so that you recognise them elsewhere. Everywhere else on UnlockMyBazi the same content is translated into everyday language: self element, abundant forces, thin forces, and timing.
No. A birth chart reads a person’s relationship with resources, not an amount of money. What it shows is the route that meets least resistance, how firmly you hold what arrives, and which periods favour accumulating. The outcome is decided by work, habits, and circumstances that sit outside any chart.
In everyday language, the wealth element is the force your self element controls, and every chart contains that relationship. What differs is its strength: in some charts it is abundant, in others thin. Thin does not mean no income; it means your income does not arrive by the route people most often talk about.
No. Thin means that route is not your easiest one, not that the door is shut. Plenty of people with that pattern do well through skill, reputation, or partnership, which the chart reads from a different side. What to avoid is forcing a method that was never your strength.
The ten-year cycles show which periods favour gathering and which favour expanding. That is a climate, not a schedule: it gives no dates and promises no results. The way to use it is to size your risk accordingly, not to put life on hold until a particular period arrives.
